So... I have been terribly, terribly behind in the Rocco world as of late. The real world has unfortunately caught up to me, swallowed me, and left me a little dazed.

So my question is... what happened to Greg and Dave?

"Save Yourself" will be included in the 24-Redemption DVD released on November 25th."

If the rest of the second album is anything like "Nightgale," I'd pre-order the CD right now (alas, the second album is not available yet anywhere).

Hey all! [17 Jan 2008|10:38am]

sparky_girl82
Just thought I'd put this out here.  I'm currently working on a project ( a sort of gift to Ironworks in appreciation for all the great music/friends they've helped bring to our lives) and I'm putting together a a framed collage of fans with the guys, and if anyone has pics with HoneyHoney or Billy Boy on Poison those too.  So if you would like to have your picture added to the mix send me (decent) quality picture to norcalrdbstreetteam@yahoo.com

Any questions feel free to ask!

Oh, and if you want in, I need the pics ASAP as I have a deadline for when I want to present this.

Feel free to pass the word on to anyone you know who might be interested!

Thanks guys!

Does anyone have any videos of concert footage or anything? I see all of these myspace/youtube vids..but I am on dial up, so they won't load. I was wondering if maybe someone had some that they'd be willing to burn onto a disc for me, or send files that I can try to download...

thanks.

The music was fantastic. Just phenomenal.

There are 60 photos, so take your time. Not just of RDB, but the two opening bands as well.

I requested at the Insimenator forums for a Rocco Deluca sim, and this is what Timberario made. Isn't he fantastic? *squees*

Of interest, someone made a Jack Bauer sim. I always have to pull his chin up some, because he looks a little funky in game, but he's a great likeness, especially if you're going to have the RDB boys around.

Have fun!

Podcast with Rocco DeLuca [26 Jun 2007|01:47pm]

capetown_one
I don't know, if you noticed already this Podcast with Rocco DeLuca on iTunes. It's still from 03-29-2007 but  I found it firstly today.

Podcast Description:
Emerging Ironworks Music artist Rocco DeLuca stopped by on his way through San Francisco to play a couple *EXCLUSIVE LIVE* songs and chat.

Rocco DeLuca and the Burden are a four-piece American alternative and non-conformist rock and roll band from California who formed in late 2005. Previous to this Rocco DeLuca himself was a solo artist who opened for artists like Taj Mahal, John Mayall, and John Lee Hooker, and played with Johnny Cash. In 2005 DeLuca was signed by independent record label Ironworks and subsequently formed a band with drummer Ryan Carman, percussionist Greg Velasquez and bassist Dave Beste.

PS: Here an alternate link for you without iTunes.

Rocco Deluca and the Burden Live from the 'Extra' Lounge
And on eXtra you can find two clips - Colorful and Bus ride with RDB.
BTW, if you give pay attention, you will notice a  "wrong Burden" there. That's  Brett Bixby.

Hi everyone! I am so happy to have found this community. I need new friends that love RDB as much as me since all of mine think I'm crazy.

Anyone here from California and going to any of the upcoming shows (including in-stores)? I'm going to try and hit as many of them as possible, but aside from the two Hollywood Bowl shows, I don't have a companion for any. Boo.

Also, in case you don't have it, I uploaded the song "Every Chance" for you guys. Here it is. :)

RDB Finally coming to my home town!!! [02 Jun 2007|10:29am]

mwissa
So happy I could cry, but will anyone be seeing them in St. Louis?

Can't wait for July 24th!

~ And I know that you guys aren't fans of the new Colorful video, but I kind of liked it.
The song is about a woman who makes no excuses for her actions and does what she wants. She does crazy and unbelievable things. It's hard to shoot a video with the money that they had (and my first thought of the video is that they are getting successful enough to shoot higher quality stuff. Which meant more to me than the having a nude woman in it) in the beginning, but the song needed a woman in it, not just Rocco walking around on a pier. It makes more sense with a woman in the video.

He's a guy. Keifer's a guy. They like ..sexy women. I'm sure Rocco was writing about one when he penned this song. Rocco isn't one to do anything with his music that he isn't 100% OK with. That isn't his style. I have a hard time believing that he had no say in reshooting the video.

But, that is just my opinion. You never saw any nipples or cooter. The nudity was sexily, but tastefully done and you see worse in music videos and commercials in Europe. Best fit for the song? I dunno. But for a naked model running around with Rocco's face on her, I thought it was done well.
